The achievements

Description of infrastructure project achievement (New lab, New Equipment, New service to your institution, etc.).

-The pilot system installed in the Faculty of Agriculture of Zagazig University contains several components (desalination unit, solar energy unit, irrigation and fertilization unit, control unit, monitoring system, mobile application)  integrated together to serve as:

(a) Education and learning center for the undergraduate students of Faculty of Agriculture (outdoor and indoor agriculture activities, irrigation and fertilization techniques, Desalination and solar energy technologies)

(b) Education and learning center for the undergraduate students of Faculty of Agriculture (irrigation and fertilization techniques, Desalination and solar energy technologies, control panel/partial automation, and mobile application).

(c) Research laboratory for postgraduate students in different departments of Faculty of Agriculture particularly Agriculture Engineering, Soil and Water Sciences,  Crops, Horticulture, Animal production and might be others).

(d) Education and research laboratory for the students of the newly developed credit hours program “Horticulture Program”.

(e) Consultation center to find the best possible solutions for challenges facing the 100,000 greenhouses being built in Egypt.
